Klingner Hires Assistant Land Surveying Technician

David Soliz has joined the Land Surveying Department at Klingner & Associates, P.C. as an Assistant Technician. Based in the Davenport Regional Office, he will assist licensed land surveyors in Iowa and Illinois with mapping and documenting boundaries for lot surveys, subdivisions, and property splits; conducting topographic surveys; 3D laser scanning; and completing aerial surveys. He will also assist in the preparation of plats and other various drawings. Soliz previously worked as a drafter, utilizing surveying software and collaborating with engineers and designers to verify mapping accuracy. He holds a bachelor of arts in geography from Augustana College and is in the process of completing a graduate certificate in remote sensing and earth observation from Pennsylvania State University.
