LivWell CARES is seeking a mission-driven Executive Director to lead operations, build partnerships, and support sustainable funding for our growing organization.

About LivWell Cares:

LivWell Cares is a nonprofit dedicated to advocating for vulnerable low-income seniors in the Quad Cities. We ensure older adults with limited resources can access safe housing, essential care, and the support they need to age with dignity. Our team guides seniors through complex decisions, connects them with Medicaid and community resources, and fills in the gap when they have no one else to help them. 

Key Impact: 

• Assisted 3,000+ low-income seniors since 2017
• Supporting 600+ seniors annually as local needs rise
• Provides 1,200+ nutritious holiday meals each year
• Helps seniors find safe housing and senior living communities that accept Medicaid 
• Offers hands-on support applying for benefits to pay for essential care

• Flexible work schedule, in a hybrid environment, typically weekdays with some evening/weekend commitments

What You’ll Do: 

• Oversee daily operations, staff support, and organizational workflow. 
• Build and cultivate relationships with senior living communities, healthcare providers, referral partners, and funders. 
• Lead fundraising efforts, including grants, donor stewardship, and community campaigns. 
• Maintain donor records and manage donor relationships. 
• Represent LivWell CARES at local meetings, networking groups, and community events. 
• Serve as Secretary for the Board of Directors supporting them with agendas, minutes, and communication. 
• Provide backup client services and maintain working knowledge of Medicaid, HUD/Section 8, and senior-living resources in IA/IL. 
• Ensure compliance with nonprofit reporting and accountability standards (Gold Seal of Transparency, resource center accountability listings). 

What We’re Looking For: 

• Experience in nonprofit leadership, senior services, social work, or related fields. 
• Compelling communication and relationship-building skills. 
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, service-focused environment. 
• Grant writing and CRM experience preferred, especially Salesforce (not required).
