Job Description
The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing the credit union’s technology infrastructure, cybersecurity, IT operations, and digital services. This role ensures systems are secure, efficient, and aligned with organizational goals and regulatory requirements. The IT Manager collaborates with vendors, core system providers, and internal departments to deliver reliable and innovative technology solutions.
Oversee all IT infrastructure, including core systems, servers, and network security
Lead IT strategy, projects, upgrades, and vendor relationships
Ensure compliance with NCUA, FFIEC, and cybersecurity standards
Provide hands-on support for user accounts, system access, and equipment setup
Manage disaster recovery and business continuity planning
Maintain reliable digital banking platforms for members
Bachelor’s in IT, Computer Science, or related field
5+ years of IT experience, including 2+ in a leadership role
2-4 years of experience with credit union or banking systems (e.g., Symitar, Fiserv)
Strong cybersecurity, compliance, and network infrastructure knowledge
Proficiency in Microsoft 365, firewalls, and virtual environments
Certifications like CISSP or CISM
Experience with cloud-based systems and digital banking platforms
Familiarity with Iowa-specific data/privacy regulations
