Job Description |
The Associate Dean of Concurrent Enrollment Faculty will work in conjunction with the Associate Dean of Concurrent Enrollment Students and provide district-wide leadership and support to all full-time department coordinators, faculty liaisons, and Concurrent Enrollment Instructors.
The Associate Dean of Concurrent Enrollment Faculty will work closely with the Dean, Associate Dean, and EICC’s K12 partners in planning, implementing, and assessing classroom observations, professional development, and other aspects of concurrent enrollment. Additionally, this position requires a high level of data collection and reporting on practices and compliance for accreditation.

Required Qualifications |
- Two-three years of experience as a Department Coordinator/Faculty Liaison and/or work with concurrent enrollment processes
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience with NACEP accreditation and/or served as a peer reviewer for NACEP

- Experience with continuous quality program improvement
- K12 and/or community college partnership collaboration

Typical Duties and Responsibilities
Provide district-wide leadership of Concurrent Enrollment:
- Work collaboratively with the Dean and the Associate Dean of Concurrent Enrollment Students to ensure NACEP accreditation measures are being satisfied, recorded, and reported accurately (i.e. Discipline-Specific Professional Development (DSPD), faculty liaison training, and classroom observations).
- Attend weekly one-on-one meetings with the Dean of Curriculum and Concurrent Enrollment to discuss progress, priorities, goals, and updates.
- Attend monthly department meetings and provide a report at each meeting or the area you oversee.
- Ensure district-wide oversight of all Concurrent Enrollment Instructors (CCI), including hiring, onboarding, training, etc.
- Provide guidance to Divisional Deans regarding compliance/non-compliance procedures for all CCI.
- In coordination with the Divisional Deans, present updates at department coordinator meetings.
- Meet with the Associate Dean of Concurrent Enrollment Students weekly and coordinate high school efforts.
- Maintain the Discipline List for NACEP accreditation.
- Complete Faculty Qualification Review for any new CCI (i.e. application and transcript review, onboarding, assign faculty liaison to the CCI, etc.)
- Create and update high school guides yearly.
- Support all EICC faculty who teach on high school campuses.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all concurrent enrollment questions related to the bookstore.
- In coordination with the Associate Dean of Concurrent Enrollment Students, review marketing requests and receive department approval prior to submission.
- Consistently communicate and collaborate with DC’s and faculty liaisons.
- Provide yearly training for all faculty liaisons and regularly travel to area high schools to support and manage administrative functions (i.e. meeting with CCI’s to provide support)
- Maintain records through the DualEnroll platform for all CCI and EICC faculty liaisons and provide reports to the Dean as requested.
- Plan and facilitate the College Connections Instructors (CCI) pre-teaching orientation prior to the start of the school year.
- Record and report attendance at all orientation events and submit to the Administrative Assistant in the Curriculum & Concurrent Enrollment department.
- Share ongoing updates for EICC curriculum requirements and other information (provided by the Curriculum and Concurrent Enrollment Department) to all CCI and high school administration.
- Serve as the lead for high-quality teaching and learning in all concurrent courses and career academies.
- Create a monthly newsletter to all CCI. Submission of the newsletter to the Dean of Curriculum & Concurrent Enrollment for review is due 5 days prior to the end of the month.
- Conduct a monthly audit based on CCI observations and DSPD. Provide information to the Dean of Curriculum & Concurrent Enrollment, the Associate Dean of Concurrent Enrollment, and all Divisional Deans starting at the end of October and going through June of each academic year.
- Generate a completed Simple Syllabus report through Canvas at the end of the first week of each term and report its findings to the Dean of Curriculum & Concurrent Enrollment.
- Work with Canvas Help to collect information on Published Concurrent Courses.
- Coordinate and facilitate the discipline-specific professional development event yearly. This includes all communication between EICC and all high schools.
- Serve as a communication liaison between faculty and administration on faculty-related processes.
- Attend the yearly NACEP conference and serve as a NACEP peer reviewer.
- Provide an annual concurrent enrollment faculty report assessing strengths and opportunities for the Dean of Curriculum & Concurrent Enrollment by June 30th.
- Stay current on all state and national policies regarding concurrent enrollment programming and trends.
- Other duties as assigned.
