Rock Island High School Ribbon Cutting

Rock Island High School, 1400 25^th Ave. Rock Island, IL 61201, will host a ribbon cutting ceremony on Tuesday, October 21 at 1:00 p.m.

The ribbon cutting will celebrate the recent renovation of the Living Center at Rock Island High School for the Special Education Department.  The Living Center teaches students with disabilities life skills such as cooking, washing clothes and cleaning.  A number of companies donated their time, equipment and effort towards make this project a success.  Some of the major contributors to the renovation were Tri-City Building Trades Council, Carpenters Local #4, Electricians Local #145, Painters Local#502, Plumbers & Pipefitter Local #25, Sheet Metal Workers Local #91, Crawford Heating & Cooling and Art-O-Lite Electric.
