Silvis Police Station, 600 Illini Dr. Silvis, IL 61282, will host a ribbon cutting ceremony on Tuesday, January 24 at 11am to celebrate the grand opening of their new building.
The 10,443 square-foot, $2.5 million facility features a high-security area with evidence and interview rooms, a dispatch center, an exercise room, community room with seating for 30 and a six car garage. It will also have a booking room separate from the rest of the building, making it safer for everyone.
