Ribbon Cutting and Open House - IA American Water Treatment Facility

IA American Water Treatment Facility, 1719 East River Dr. Davenport, IA 52803, will host a ribbon cutting ceremony on August 19th at 4pm to kick off the opening of their treatment facility for public tours.  An open house will follow from 4pm-7pm.

Parking and Entrance Instruction:

o   Lindsay Park Boat Club (West Lot)

o   River Drive & Oneida (across from old Wonder Bread Bldg)

o   Northeast corner of Mound & River Dr. intersection

Walk down riverfront bike path and enter grounds at center gate

*Please use extreme caution crossing River Dr.

Since their last general public open house in 1991, IA American Water has made millions of dollars in upgrades to their treatment plant facility. Enjoy a family friendly evening that provides an up-close look at water – from the river to tap. They will have plant tours, refreshments, children’s activities, giveaways and prizes!
