Quad City Botanical Center - Children's Garden Phase I Groundbreaking

Please help Quad City Botanical Center celebrate Phase I of the Children’s Garden Project on Friday, May 10^th at 10:00am – Located at 2525 4^th Avenue, Rock Island.

This $1.2 million phase of the project will consist of river basin and delta features, and an entry plaza, all to be built west of the existing center, director Ami Jenkins said today.  The groundbreaking also will kick off the 15th-anniversary celebration of the Quad City Botanical Center at 2525 4th Avenue, Rock Island.

The expansion is designed to provide fun and experiential learning opportunities about plants, water and river ways. Although appealing to children, the activities encourage inter-generational play, so the families and caregivers of the children can also become involved in the activity.
