The world is changing rapidly, and with those changes come a multitude of ideas that we often think have the promise of giving us the success that we want. But trends, whether technology, market, customer or cultural, are just one part of the conditions that create opportunity. And ideas, while important, aren't as important as the opportunities that they occupy. We will be exploring some principles of Opportunity Thinking, an approach that helps individuals and companies identify the opportunities that can lead to better focus and the greatest payoff.

About Aaron Welling:

Aaron Welling is a managing director at NewEdge, an innovation and strategy consulting firm that specializes in helping companies to see the bigger picture as they develop strategies focused on opportunities rather than ideas.
