Join Partners of Scott County Watersheds and speakers from Augustana College’s Upper Mississippi River Center Faculty, over the lunch hour on May 19th, 12pm – 1pm to hear them discuss the results of a 2022 study done in Scott County analyzing microplastic pollution in waterways. This presentation demonstrates and compares the levels of microplastics between urban, natural and agricultural watersheds based on real-world data collected in 2022. Attend in person at the Davenport Public Library – Eastern Ave. Branch – Room A. Our Conservation Quarterlies will no longer be available via zoom. Lunch is provided for in-person attendees with a $5 suggested donation.
