DESCRIPTION:The St. Ambrose Professional Development Center is excited to bring you our HR Professional Development Series! This is part one of a four part series which aims to bolter the HR professional's competency in the most pressing areas of the profession. This will be an in-person event\, held at the North Davenport Education Center (1950 E 54th St\, Davenport\, IA 52807)\n\n\n\nUnderstanding business financials can be a challenge for any HR professional\, and using financials in decision making can present even bigger challenges.  The goal of this program is to de-mystify the relevant business and financial acumen for HR professionals to increase confidence in using financial information.  Whether a seasoned HR pro or moving through the HR ranks\, this program will help guide participants to becoming strategic partners in their organizations.\n\n\n\nLearning outcomes include:\n\n	Develop an appreciation for the use of financials in HR\n	Create a deeper understanding of the most important accounting and finance terms\, formulas\, and statements\n	Develop the ability to recognize\, use\, and evaluate important financial measures \n	Increase overall financial intelligence to elevate HR as a strategic business partner in any organization
