DESCRIPTION:The Iowa Lean Consortium (ILC)\, a program of CIRAS at ISU\, is a dynamic\, member-driven organization that strives to connect its members to each other and to the philosophy\, tools\, and techniques needed to meet today's business challenges. The 2021 ILC Annual Conference is the largest conference in Iowa for continuous improvement professionals. No other conference in our region compares to the types of continuous improvement educational programs\, networking activities\, and growth opportunities provided to attendees. CIRAS and the ILC have been promoting a culture of continuous improvement for over a decade. Their mission is to educate and inspire attendees in the area of continuous improvement\, leadership\, and culture to help them improve productivity. This year we are offering you a hybrid and distributed conference. You can choose to attend in 1 of 5 in-person locations or virtually. The main site will be Prairie Meadows in Altoona (Des Moines)\, keynotes and breakouts will be broadcast from these locations. There are 4 satellite locations throughout the state - Council Bluffs\, Dubuque\, Sioux Center and Muscatine. These will be smaller gatherings with in-person breakouts that will not be broadcast. We will follow the COVID guidelines for each in-person location. Currently\, Prairie Meadows is requiring masks be worn by all guests. Social distancing practices will be followed when possible in all locations.
